Tottenham boss Conte sends Son World Cup message to South Korea

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte expects Heung-min Son to be fit for the South Korea's World Cup campaign.

Son suffered a fracture to his orbital bone during the first-half of the game against Marseille after clashing heads with defender Chancel Mbemba and was forced off injured.

However, despite concerns that the South Korea talisman could miss the upcoming World Cup due to the injury, Conte revealed the 30-year-old is out of hospital and will likely be available for the tournament in Qatar.

Speaking following Tottenham's Premier League defeat to Liverpool the Italian manager explained: "With Sonny, I sent him a message after the surgery.

"Sonny was really, really disappointed with this situation but I hope for him to recover very well and to play in the World Cup because I was a player and I know the importance of the World Cup.

"He missed us tonight. I'm confident that he can come back quickly and play in the World Cup. He's not in hospital now, he's home."
