Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is in contact with former club Inter Milan.

The future of Conte, as he recovers from gallbladder surgery, has been questioned as his contract with Tottenham runs down.

The Times says Conte could leave the job early if Spurs are eliminated by AC Milan from the Champions League this week.

In recent weeks there has been informal contact between Conte and the Nerazzurri management. Nothing concrete, as no decision has been made about Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, who unlike Conte has a contract until 2025.

But an exchange between Inter GM Beppe Marotta and Conte has been held. The pair dominated Italian football when together with Juventus and remain close.
