Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is planning a £4 million bid for Rangers Madjid Bougherra.

Redknapp is keen to add more defensive cover to his squad, with Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate not currently able to train flat out.

Scottish champions Rangers are known to be willing to move on the Algeria international at a profit.
