Italy fullback Darmian could be on his way to Manchester United as early as today, with a bid of €16 million, plus €2 million in bonuses, on the table.

Toro are ready to accept and an announcement confirming the transfer could be confirmed today.

Meanwhile, the Granata will use the cash raised to bid for Hellas Verona wing-back Jacopo Sala as Darmian's replacement.

Sala is a former Chelsea junior.
