This season one of the most important in Watford history - Flores

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has described the Hornets' 2015/16 Premier League campaign as the most important in the club's history.

Flores said the support of the club's fans has been a key ingredient in Watford being on the verge of achieving their goal of maintaining Premier League status after gaining promotion from the Championship last season.

"We need their support every time," said Flores who is also preparing Watford for a trip to Wembley to take on Crystal Palace in the FA Cup semi-final next month.

"We need to create this kind of magic atmosphere to decide our objective in the next match.

"I don't have words to explain how pleased we are with the fans. I realise that everyone is happy and they are happy because we are living something special together.

"That is why I am a coach. I like to go to clubs where I can make the fans and the players happy. The feeling I have here, I can't compare it to anything.

"In Watford's history they have had a lot of good seasons for many different reasons. But this season is one of the most important in the club's history."
