The Red Army, a supporters' group at Manchester United, are taking on the MUST.

A civil war between the two groups is emerging, after the Manchester United Supporters' Trust discussed the club's stadium plans.

MUST released a survey to see if supporters preferred a new stadium or to renovate Old Trafford.

The Red Army are unhappy, stating that only fans who go to matches should have a say, not any online supporter.

They stated that “your view as a red who's got a genuine, emotional and spiritual attachment to Old Trafford, could be judged as having equal weight as someone living thousands of miles away whose only attachment to our club is they watch United in their bedroom once a week."

MUST stated in response: “It is worth reiterating that the Old Trafford taskforce will have a remit much wider than those of special interest to match going fans."
