Italy World Cup winner Marco Tardelli says Zlatan Ibrahimovic can be a big hit at AC Milan.

The Swede is in talks about a management role with the Rossonero.

Tardelli told La Stampa: "There is a need, in our football, for men who know it deeply having experienced it. Who know the sensitivity and fragility, the delicacy of a place, the locker room, which makes all the difference in moments of difficulty.

"Men who know when to speak and when to remain silent. An icon of world football, of enormous personality and charisma that could transfer security and self-esteem to a team that is currently insecure and fragile."

Tardelli then added: "We all know that Ibrahimovic is a cumbersome character and would not go to Milan to be the mascot. But in my opinion if he had a well-constructed role recognised by everyone he could go to Milanello to speak to the team and the team's trainer."
