Swansea captain Ashley Williams has praised his teammate Bafetimbi Gomis for his brace in the 3-1 victory over Hull City on Saturday.
Gomis endured a slow start to life in England and was also linked with a move away from the club in January but he now has five league goals since the departure of Wilfried Bony to Manchester City in the winter transfer window.
Williams said: "Bafe's shown a lot of character and it's great for him. There was great athleticism for the first one and the confidence he has to chip the second was brilliant.
"He's been getting better and better, he's still got a lot to do but he's worked hard when it's been tough and I'm pleased he's getting the praise he deserves."
