Sunderland boss Roy Keane is chasing his old Manchester United pal Diego Forlan.

The Daily Star says Keane will move for the Atletico Madrid striker - if he can guide Sunderland to Premiership safety this season.

Only last week, Forlan admitted an ambition to make a return to the Premiership: "If a Premier League club gave me the opportunity to return, I would seriously think about it. I loved living in England but I didn't have a lot of chances to shine."
