Sunderland are in defensive chaos over Titus Bramble's arrest.

The Daily Mail says Sunderland have been plunged into a defensive crisis by the arrest of Bramble on suspicion of rape.

Steve Bruce has only three fit centre backs available for the trip to Liverpool this weekend after Anton Ferdinand limped off against West Ham on Tuesday night.

With Michael Turner and John Mensah also unfit, it leaves only Bramble, Paulo Da Silva and on-loan Nedum Onuoha.
