Sunderland boss Gus Poyet insists his strikers will stay.
Connor Wickham and Steven Fletcher have been linked with moves away this month.
"They're staying!" Poyet told the Shields Gazette.
"I'm a big believer that we need to stop the transfer window on the last day before we start the season.
"I can go to West Brom and (Saido) Berahino, who scored against us, could be playing for us tomorrow. It's not right. I'm sorry, but it's not right.
"Sometime you can take a player from a team that is going to be competing with you. I don't like it. But it's the way it is and we are all the same.
"In the next couple of weeks, as soon as I get a phone call from the chief executive, I don't want to answer! I don't want any offers."
