Sunderland have managed to move up to seventh on the Premier League table following their fortunate 1-0 win over Aston Villa at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
Richard Dunne's 25th minute own goal was the difference between the two sides as Villa left the Wearside ruing a host of missed chances.
It was Sunderland's first win in six league matches, continuing Villa's poor run in the northeast this season following their 6-0 loss to Newcastle United early on and forcing them down to 10th.
