Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez struck for Uruguay in their friendly win against Canada.
Nunez has struggled for confidence of late after a tough start to life in the Premier League, but this goal for Uruguay will give him a boost heading into Saturday's match with Brighton.
Nunez has been subject to ridicule from rivals fans who are urging the 23-year-old to fail at Liverpool, but a Luis Suarez assist gave him the chance to head beyond Milan Borjan in the Canada goal to send Uruguay into a 2-0 lead.
The match ended with Uruguay winning 2-0.
