Former Napoli captain Marek Hamsik is set for a shock move to IFK Goteborg.

The 33-year-old spent 12 years at Napoli where he scored 121 goals in 520 appearances and won three trophies.

He left the Stadio Maradona in January 2019 to join Dalian Yifang and is now available on the market as a free agent.

Expressen says he has agreed to join IFK Göteborg in Sweden.

amsik is set to arrive in Sweden in the coming days to sign a contract with his new club.
