Stoke striker Jerome excited to be working with Pulis

Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome feels he can reach his best under manager Tony Pulis.

Jerome can see why Pulis has masterminded the rise of the Club from the Championship to their current top-flight status.

"I've seen it from him already to be honest with you," he told Potters Matchday Magazine of Pulis' man-management style and skills. "Out on the training ground, he is extremely vocal, speaks to everyone individually, but treats everybody exactly the same.

"He knows exactly what he wants from each player. He works differently with each of them; some need an arm around them, others need a little kick up the backside and some don't need anything, they just turn up and perform week in week out.

"That is a fantastic trait to have because it gets the best out of players. There are a lot of different characters here and the manager has the skills to handle each player appropriately, and you can see that with the success that the Club has had over the past few years."
