Stoke City plan new deals for Robert Huth and Glenn Whelan.

German defender Huth, 27, has two years left on his current deal but has been tracked by Bundesliga clubs.

Irishman Whelan, 27, has also started talks over a four-year extension.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis said: "We always look after the players who have done well for us and we want to keep Robert and Glenn here for a long time. Everybody has to feel a part of what we're trying to achieve."
