Stoke boss Pulis confident Fuller, Beattie will find scoring touch

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is confident his goal-shy strikers will come good.

Pulis has backed James Beattie and Ricardo Fuller to end their goal famine and start firing Stoke up the Premier League.

Beattie, 31, hammered seven goals in 16 games after a £3.5m move from Sheffield United in January but has only scored twice in this campaign.

Jamaica international Fuller, 30, was Stoke's leading scorer last season with 11 goals but has not found the net this term.

Pulis said: "I've got no doubts that both of them will start firing again soon. You need at least two of your players to hit double figures. Hopefully James and Ric will do that."
