Stoke boss Hughes won't rule out Crouch January sale

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists there's been no contact with QPR for Peter Crouch.

The former England striker, 33, worked with Harry Redknapp at Tottenham, Portsmouth and Southampton and the Queens Park Rangers manager revealed he wants him at Loftus Road.

But Hughes said: "I'm sure Harry gets asked about lots of players and he is very honest.

"We are very happy to have Peter at the club, we didn't encourage any bids for our players.

"So if Harry did make a call it was not to me so it wouldn't have got very far. I have no idea no idea if they will revisit in January, possibly."
