Stoke City boss Mark Hughes believes the sky's the limit for Steven N'Zonzi.

Hughes believes his man has to be knocking on the door for a call up to the French national side.

"I think he's got ambitions to get into the French team and why not? He's played in the top league in European football for a few years now.

"I'd be surprised if French managers now and in the past haven't had a look at him.

"He's as close as he's ever been, he's technically good on the ball, he displays week in week out a lot of the things you need at international level in the Premier League."
