Hearts midfielder Michael Stewart dedicated Wednesday night's CIS Cup victory over Celtic to under pressure coach Stephen Frail.
"He's in an extremely difficult position and he has to try and mediate between everyone and I think he does a fantastic job.
"There are times when he has to come out and face the press when there isn't much that he can say about things and I think even the press realise that. At times they are just looking for someone to have a go at.
"The win is not just for Shaggy [left] though, it's for everybody because we've let ourselves down in the last couple of weeks. We've shown a great hunger and desire to get the result last night and it's something we can take a lot of pleasure from."
