Stellini: Tactical change saw Spurs win at Marseille; Conte is worn out!

Tottenham assistant manager Cristian Stellini hailed their fighting spirit for victory at Olympique Marseille.

The 2-1 win at the Velodrome sees Spurs finish first in their Champions League group.

Stellini said: "The performance, we have to analyse. We repeat the same routine of the last three or four games - not starting well in the first half. We didn't use our intensity in the first half. We let them play too much in our half and we lost the pitch. They had control of the game.

"In the second half when we changed to 3-5-2 we had more control of the game. We played a good second half."

On whether he enjoyed being in charge, he added: "Yeah. I enjoyed it when we won. These guys deserve to win because we were a good team. We have to show it for 90 minutes. We have to work to show again for the whole game and not to lose one half every game.

"I just spoke with Antonio (Conte). He's tired because to watch from the crowd is not normal. He wasted a lot of energy. It's better to stay on the touchline because you live the game like the players are doing."
