Stellini assures Spurs fans over Conte commitment

Tottenham Hotspur assistant coach Cristian Stellini has spoken about the future of his boss Antonio Conte.

Stellini was given press conference duties this week, as Spurs prepare for a Carabao Cup third round clash against Nottingham Forest.

Conte, who has often spoken about the club needing to invest more money in new players, is not one to stay long at clubs judging by his past behavior.

Stellini, however, stated that leaving is not in Conte's plans at present: “Yes, absolutely [have a long stay], but never, never Antonio's thought or our thought was to stop a process in the past.

“It happened, but it happens to everyone. Thinking and passion like he is used to work with is so high and for sure his thinking is every time to do the best with the club's he's working with.

“So there is no perfect timing, it's just about a relationship with him and everyone around him. He thinks every time to do the best for the club he works with."
