Amanda Staveley has revealed she remains interested in buying Newcastle United, but warned they are not the only club she is looking at.
Backed by PCP Capital Partners, Staveley was unsuccessful in purchasing the club last year.
Owner Mike Ashley is still open to selling the club, and the English billionaire says PCP have retained their interest in the club.
Speaking to The National in Dubai, financier Staveley said: "We are big fans of Newcastle, big fans of the team.
"We have no issue with Mr Ashley that [the 'time waster' claim] is water under the bridge. It's still an interesting club to us, the fans are fantastic, but we are looking at a lot of clubs."
