Standard Liege chief Jean-François De Sart admits they sold Christian Benteke on the cheap.
Benteke moved to RacingGenk for just €1.3 million before being sold to Aston Villa last month.
"We have sold Benteke for too low a price," lamented De Sart.
"But he had all the options to leave us and wanted to. Apparently he behaved the same way at Genk. Aston Villa really wanted him and he was happy to push for a move."
