St Mirren chairman Stewart Gilmour has once again stated that there is no new sign of new investment in the club any time in the near future. Gilmour said: "In terms of the board of directors that are running St Mirren, it is business as usual. Yes, we have stated clearly that we feel our time has come, that we have done what we set out to do here and that St Mirren need to go on to another level.
"The right person I'm sure will come along at the right time and when that person comes it will be ideal. There have been a number of enquiries, a number of people have actually put in proposals but not proposals that the board and consortium saw to take the club forward.
"So it is business as usual, we're here to run a football club as best we can and we'll do that."
