St Etienne chief Romeyer hints Arsenal know Saliba terms

St Etienne vice-president Roland Romeyer insists they're not rushing to cash in on William Saliba.

The defender is the subject of intense interest from Arsenal, which are willing to meet ASSE's €30m valuation.

But Romeyer says they're not under pressure to sell the teen.

"There is no urgency to sell Saliba," he said.

"Our goal is that he is still operational this season with us. That's what he wants too. He wants to play the Europa League with AS Saint-Etienne. So indeed, there are solicitations. But there is no urgency for us."

Indeed, it's suggested Arsenal will buy Saliba and loan him back to ASSE for the new season.
