Tottenham striker Darren Bent was delighted with a rare appearance in their victory at Reading.

"I hit the post and the keeper made a couple of saves but as long as I'm getting in the positions to score the goals, I'm happy," Bent told Spurs' website. "If I wasn't getting any chances I'd be more worried.

"The most important thing is the win though and I felt I contributed to it.

"It's great to come into the team and play well. I thought I did that, the manager was happy and I'm delighted we won."
