Spurs reject opening Inter Milan offer for Eriksen

Tottenham have refused Inter Milan's first offer this month for Christian Eriksen.

The Mirror says Inter are trying to force through a cut-price deal after offering £11m plus two big bonuses which will depend on success and appearances.

But it is understood that is still nowhere near enough Tottenham 's valuation who rate him closer to £20m and agreement is still some way off.

Eriksen's agent Martin Schoots is due to meet Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy on Tuesday but the deal is still at deadlock unless Inter up their offer.

Denmark midfielder Eriksen, 27, only has six months left on his contract and is now free to talk and sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.

Inter were hoping that would help persuade Spurs to sell - but they are standing firm as they have been left infuriated by the Serie A club's tactics.
