Tottenham fullback Danny Rose has explained turning out at White Hart Lane yesterday with Gooner Red hair.

Rose shocked Spurs fans when he jogged out to warm up ahead of the match against Hull with a startling new hair do.

After victory over the Tigers, he explained: "I think I might be having a mid-life crisis.

"My hair went wrong, it was meant to go purple. I woke up this morning and it had turned red! Not a good start to the day!"
