Tottenham are contemplating making former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel their next head coach.

Spurs are not progressing under Italian coach Antonio Conte as the fans may have expected.

Conte is out of contract in the summer, albeit with a club option to extend the deal by a year.

Per the Daily Mail, Spurs are unlikely to extend Conte's contract if the club's current Premier League form continues to the end of the season.

A surprise candidate for the post is German coach Tuchel, who was sacked by Chelsea earlier this season.

Tuchel may feel Spurs are his best chance at getting a job that allows him to contend for trophies.
