Liverpool were one of several clubs who had a serious desire to sign a teenage defender this summer.
The Reds are among many teams mentioned alongside Hajduk Split defender Luka Vuskovic.
However, the 16-year-old is set to sign for Tottenham, having agreed personal terms.
Vuskovic had many options, but chose Spurs as he believes they offer the best career path.
Per the Evening Standard, he will be moving in the summer of 2025 when he is much older.
Spurs are ready to wait for their man, and they will be paying roughly £12 million to sign him.
