Tottenham ace Gareth Bale admits he's playing through the pain barrier to help secure a top four finish for the club.
Victory over Manchester City was the Welsh wizard's first game since straining ankle ligaments in the Europa League clash against Basel nearly three weeks ago.
And he said: "It was touch and go whether I was going to play - but thankfully I got through it OK.
"It was a bit sore in the first half but I got more confident in the second half. It hurts but it's just about managing it and carrying on."
