Tottenham centre-back Eric Dier could be set for a career lifeline in January.

The England international has been out of favor at Spurs under boss Ange Postecoglou this season.

Per The Times, the 29-year-old may have a chance to return to old club Sporting CP in Portugal.

The Lisbon-based team are offering their former youth star a chance to resurrect his career.

Dier started at Sporting when he was only seven and speaks Portuguese fluently.
