Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni says the players are ready to embrace their new manager.
Speroni has seen it all before after arriving the last time they were promoted in 2004 - and is now awaiting his eighth full-time boss.
"We have seen everything in the ten years so it does not matter as long they come in with a positive mentality, the idea of staying in this division," said the Argentine.
"Of course it needs to be done quickly. As soon as possible.
"I check the internet every day to see if there is anything going on. We more or less know the same thing. Not much really.
"Does it matter if he has managed in England before? Football is football everywhere in the world, so it does not really matter. The modern game is more or less similar everywhere."
