Southend United have snapped up West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Luke Daniels.

Daniels has joined the Shrimpers on a month's loan.

Daniels, 23, is familiar to Southend coach Graham Coughlan as the two played together at Shrewsbury where the goalkeeper made 44 starts.

He has also had loan spells with Motherwell, Tranmere, Bristol Rovers and Rochdale.
