Southampton have joined the battle for Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer.
The Daily Star says new Saints boss Ronald Koeman is competing with newly promoted QPR to offer his fellow Dutchman a Premier League return.
Koeman is desperate for reinforcements after Saints sold Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw, Dejan Lovren and Calum Chambers.
Fer, 24, has three years left on his contract but wants to leave Carrow Road after Norwich's relegation to the Championship.
