Southampton are keeping tabs on Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong, according to The Sun.

The report claims that the Saints, who have signed Victor Wanyama and Virgil van Dijk from the Celts in the recent years, are prepared to launch a move for the £10million-rated player.

The 25-year-old was one of the best players in Brendan Rodgers's side last season.

Armstrong scored an impressive total of 15 league goals in 31 appearances for the Hoops in their treble-winning campaign.
