Southampton midfielder Sofiane Boufal admits he would've considered a move to Olympique Marseille if they'd come knocking.

OM were linked with Boufal over the summer, though admits the French giants never made a concrete bid.

He told Canal+: "OM? Yes they turned me around. They never came to see me. Marseille, it's still a great French club. They are the best supporters of France.

"It might have interested me, but I'm in Southampton."

Boufal joined the Saints last summer from Lille on recommendation of former manager Claude Puel.
