Southampton defender Nico Lawrence will spend the rest of the season on loan at Torquay United.
The youngster has been involved in training sessions with the first team since Nathan Jones took charge.
However, Daily Echo states that his lack of regular game time means that a loan spell is the next logical option.
Having impressed in the EFL Cup, he will now head to Torquay where he hopes to play a key role for experienced manager Gary Johnson.
The National League strugglers are not having an easy time of it this season and could use reinforcements in the form of Lawrence.
