Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl claims he had a talk with England's assistant coach regarding Kyle Walker-Peters.
The right-back has been called up for the first time to the England squad by manager Gareth Southgate.
The likes of Reece James and Trent Alexander-Arnold are both unavailable for Engalnd's upcoming friendlies with Switzerland and Ivory Coast, giving Walker-Peters a chance to impress.
"We had somebody, the assistant coach with the national team was here two or three weeks ago and they know my opinion on Kyle Walker-Peters," Hasenhuttl stated, per Daily Echo.
"Everyone has seen what a fantastic job he has done on both sides, he did it fantastic.
"(He is) absolutely a guy to look at and it would be great for him, definitely."
