Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is delighted with his attacking options.

Hasenhuttl is pleased with Danny Ings' preseason form going into Saturday's opener against Burnley.

He said, “Absolutely. He's very fit and he invested a lot in the break, not only the pre-season. Scored, worked hard and it's a big battle in the front for these three positions.

“We have with Michael Obafemi a player who showed up in pre-season, Shane Long who doesn't want to step back, Stu, Moussa and Sofiane is back also with a lot of quality.

“These positions are definitely the ones where there is the biggest battle so far."
