Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has revealed a one-on-one meeting with Nathan Redmond in recent days.

Redmond has scored eight goals in 42 appearances in all competitions this season and his boss was quick to praise him.

The manager said, “I had a meeting with Nathan last week and told him I enjoy working with him very much.

“He can be the player who makes the difference in our play; he has shown he can play as a lone striker or on the wing, he is motivated and so flexible."
