Sons of Leeds Utd owner Cellino involved in foul-mouth rants at supporters

The sons of Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino have responded to criticism from fans with foul-mouthed insults.

Ercole and Edoardo Cellino, who are listed as directors at Elland Road, were targeted by fans on social media due to their father's ownership of the club, but reacted to the abuse with some choice words of their own.

One female Leeds supporter was labelled a 'whale' by Ercole, while Edoardo called another a 'spastic', 'moron' and said 'go f*** yourself'.

Edoardo later issued a statement to the Daily Mail to apologise for his actions.

"I would like to apologise for any offence that I have caused.

"After receiving a lot of abusive messages my emotions got the better of me and I reacted in a way that was unprofessional.

"I believe the messages were private but I know I should not have done this. I did not fully understand the severity of the words used as English is not my first language. Again, I can only apologise."
