Solskjaer sees Pogba as ideal Man Utd super-sub

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy counting on Paul Pogba as a super-sub.

The French World Cup winner and £89m club-record signing cannot squeeze his way into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's starting XI at present.

The Athletic says at Old Trafford, there is a feeling that a cameo role suits Pogba.

Pogba is arguably United's most talented player, but Solskjaer is struggling to fit him into his system.

Much debate has surrounded how Bruno Fernandes and he form a partnership in midfield while not leaving United too exposed.

Nemanja Matic was also left out against his old club on Saturday evening, while Donny van de Beek did not come on either.

In terms of playing in a deeper position, it is claimed Pogba personally has reservations about figuring there.
