Dean Smith believes he hasn't taken a risk by replacing Daniel Farke at Norwich City.
The Englishman was appointed as Canaries boss just eight days after he was sacked by Aston Villa.
Norwich are currently rock bottom of the Premier League after collecting just five points in eleven matches so far this season.
"If it was a risk then I wouldn't have taken it [the job]," said Smith, who has never been relegated.
"We've got 27 [league] games left. There are plenty of points to play for. It's a good squad that's been underperforming and our job is to get performances."
