Atletico Madrid hero Simao has questioned their move for Benfica whiz Joao Felix.

Atletico are prepared to meet Felix's €120m buyout clause to bring the midfielder to Spain.

But Simao says, "Honestly, I think that Joao Félix does not fit into Atletico Madrid and the way of playing of (Diego) Simeone.

"(Antoine) Griezmann had a brutal attrition at the defensive level and, often, did not have the gasoline to go on the attack.

"The mentality of Simeone is to defend, defend, defend and then attack."
