Manchester City playmaker David Silva has expressed his intention to stay put at the Etihad Stadium until 2019.
Silva has gone on to become a key figure of the City side since his arrival to the club back in 2010 but with the midfielder set to enter his 30's, many believe that the Citizens could soon have to look for a replacement.
Nonetheless, Silva does have a contract with City for another three-and-a-half years and the Spanish international has now expressed his desire to remain with the club until his contract runs out.
Silva said: "Yes, absolutely [I want to stay]. I've always said that I'm very happy here and I want to see out my contract. Then we'll see what happens.
"For me it's not difficult because I want to win, win and win. I don't know what happens with other players and what's in the head of other players. But for me, it's just winning. One day this will all end and all I want to do is win. The day I don't feel that I don't want to win then I finish.
"I have been away from home for many years and I have more years still to go. But of course I am looking forward the day I go back with my friends and family and my people. I don't look at it with any fear."
