Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini highlighted the performances of two of his key contributors after Monday night's win at West Bromwich Albion.
Midfielder Yaya Toure stole the show with a first-half double as David Silva pulled the strings as City opened their 2015/16 campaign with an impressive 3-0 win over the Baggies at The Hawthorns.
After the match, Pellegrini spoke of the technical side of his team's game which was made possible by midfield pair Toure and Silva.
"I enjoy seeing technical players play well," said the Chilean.
"David really played well - especially in the first-half. It was an unbelievable performance. He did not make any mistakes.
"I also think we will see the Yaya of one season ago - not last season when he had many problems.
"All of our technical players played very well."
