Silkeborg striker Nicklas Helenius has no regrets over his time with Aston Villa.
Helenius will face West Ham in the Europa Conference League tonight.
He recalled of his 2013 move: "There they (Aston Villa) were not aware that I was struggling with an illness. So it's kind of funny to reflect on that, that I took every single time, sat and smiled to myself and showed a strength towards myself.
"I feel I must have done that to be where I am today.
After a year at Aston Villa, Helenius returned home to AaB on a loan deal, before the North Jutland club signed the striker on a permanent deal in the summer of 2015.
