Sheffield Wednesday have signed Watford pair Daniel Pudil and Fernando Forestieri.

Wednesday have signed Watford forward Forestieri for an undisclosed fee and brought in Hornets defender Pudil on loan.

Italian Forestieri, 25, has agreed a four-year contract while Czech Pudil, 29, will be with the Owls for the rest of the season.

Forestieri scored five times in 26 outings as Watford were promoted to the Premier League last season.

Pudil, who has not featured in any of the Hornets' games since their promotion to the Premier League, has featured 108 times after joining from Spanish side Granada in the summer of 2012, initially on loan.
